Communication supportHelps a couple stay aware and prepared.
Not medical guidanceDoes not diagnose labor or complications.
For emergencies, call your local emergency number directly.

What Labor Together does

  • Records contraction timing and intervals
  • Shares updates between connected household members
  • Stores provider instructions and phone numbers
  • Provides timer recovery and record correction tools
  • Supports practice through Test Mode

What it does not do

  • Diagnose labor, complications, or fetal wellbeing
  • Determine when it is medically safe to stay home
  • Replace a maternity provider’s instructions
  • Guarantee notification or network delivery
  • Serve as the only method for urgent communication

Call when instructed

Follow the maternity provider’s specific call and departure guidance even when the app’s pattern display looks different.

Use direct communication

For urgent needs, call or speak directly. Push notifications can be delayed or unavailable because of device, network, or platform conditions.

Keep a fallback

Keep provider and hospital numbers available outside the app, and keep phones, the Watch, and battery packs charged.

Emergency guidance

If you believe there is a medical emergency, call your local emergency number immediately. Do not wait for an app notification, pattern calculation, support-person acknowledgement, or response from Labor Together support.
